Black History Month
Each February we celebrate Black History Month. Here are some of our best resources.

Our Lesson Library has many fine resources for educators to celebrate and deliver lessons related to Black History Month in February.
Here are just a few that we recommend. Also, find many of the same materials available on TpTs.
Black History Quiz- A great way to introduce or finish the topic of Black History.
Black History Discussion - a beautiful presentation with questions to prompt students about Black history.
Videos: So many on our video platform! My personal recommendation is this “Most Searched” Google commercial. A great way to start any lesson on this theme. I really like this one - The Man With The Golden Voice - a classic and inspiring story.
Famous Black Americans. A full set of materials for students to research and present about a famous black American.
What Would You Do? A famous TV show, watch the episode on racism and get students to decide what they would do!
So many materials on this topic. Join us as a subscriber, we don’t do recurring billing. We help with professional development and are always available to assist. No bots. No AI. Just teachers helping teachers.
