Dear Members,
Dogs are not just man’s best friend, they can be a teacher’s best friend too! Everyone loves to talk about dogs and if you can swing it, even better if you can bring your own dog to class! It makes the topic REAL.
I’ve used the topic of dogs in class often, for all ages and levels. I even wrote a kid’s book about my past dog Marshmallow. Find a PPTx version in the Lesson Library.
We just posted this beautiful video version of a Mary Oliver poem (from her wonderful book - Dog Songs). It’s a perfect video for any lesson about dogs! Get the free activity sheet.
