It’s an online world mostly, these days. And students are bombarded with so much information - it is hard to tell fact from opinion. Very hard.

Subscribers. Download below, a nice set of materials for helping with this aspect of media literacy. Fact vs Opinion.

You can use it in a very simple way. In pairs or small groups, students read out the statements to each other. Is it a fact or an opinion? (use the pptx to introduce and discuss what both are). Check against the answer key or take up as a group. You might also use our interactive video version.
