Get Lucky!
Dive into our huge archive of articles, videos, resources and posts for teachers.
The one trend of the internet has been “capture by algorithm”, meaning your activity is tracked and then you are presented only that which the tech gods deem you are interested in. IMHO - this has been one very big negative about the development of the internet.
Our platform has 1,000s of articles, resources, videos, available for teachers. We’d like to keep them alive, they are “green” and invaluable. That’s become hard now that generative “AI” based search as basically killed discoverability of anything but that scraped from the upper echelon (big sites).
So, what’s a poor teacher to do? Well, I sat down and coded a page to allow teachers and visitors to visit a random page here on ELT Buzz Teaching Resources. Just click “Take Me To A Random Post” and poof! you will land elsewhere and enter the realm of serendipity.
I hope some members find this helpful! It’s a cool way to break the algorithm and be surprised as you learn.
All the best,
David
