I’m back! The last while, I’ve been away on a much needed break - I crossed the USA and Canada on a Walmart bike! If interested, read more HERE on my personal blog.
It was a refreshing, recharging my batteries, personal, life changing and affirming journey. But now I’m back home and will return to writing about educational issues, sharing resources and recommending their use in our classrooms.
Today, to start, 3 things.
An announcement. This summer (June and July), all registered members can use the Lesson Library for free! Just make sure you are logged in. Forgot your password? Click the button and get a new one. Enjoy using our Lesson Library, it’s deep - so grab a coffee and browse when you have the time.
6 Sentences. 6 Words. My recommended resource and teaching idea for this post. I recently was reminded of this Hemingway short story. 6 words. It might work as a lesson “hook”, an example to get students writing and sharing their own 6 word stories. Also, see our templates for 6 sentence stories - they work wonders in class for summary of a story, narrative or just for purely creating ones own story outline.
