Rhyming is fun for students and a good phonetic skill for a second language learner.
In these sets of worksheets, students read the first line and then write a second line that rhymes with it. First, provide a few examples to do together and model as a teacher. Next, get students writing. After, ask students to share with each other. Who can write the best line and be the Shakespeare of the class?
The last worksheet challenges students to finish with a sentence from many famous English rhymes. Or make up their own fun one!
