Dear Subscribers,
I’ve always been a big fan of what I call “grammar poems”. They are easy to plan into a lesson or even use as a full lesson. We’ve recently put up a new bundle of resources of this type in the Lesson Library.
Essentially, they are the perfect “materials lite” lesson resource. You just give students some structure and they do the rest.
How To:
1. Put the template on a screen or on the blackboard. Use the PPTx version with sample answers (click the icon on the cover page to download seperately).
2. Complete together as a class (choose a topic)
3. Students complete their own with the handout.
4. Read and share!
There is a generic template that you can use for almost any topic. Great for review. But essentially, you can quickly on the board or a screen, write up your own “skeleton” for whatever are your lesson objectives and then have students fill in and complete them.
